The CORE Act.

The Colorado Outdoor Recreation and Economy (CORE) Act is a public lands bill introduced to Congress in 2021 by US Senator Michael Bennet, US Senator John Hickenlooper and US Congressman Joe Neguse. If passed, the bill would protect over 400,000 acres of public lands by expanding and establishing new designated Wilderness and recreation areas in the State of Colorado.

The proposed Wilderness legislation combines four previously introduced public lands bills that represent decades of tireless bipartisan work by community members, business owners, environmental activists, outdoor recreation associations, veterans and energy and water groups.
