Brooklyn Bridge Park Oyster Nursery.
In partnership with Billion Oyster Project Witness Tree Media created visual stories to spotlight the installation of an oyster nursery at Brooklyn Bridge Park in New York Harbor. The baby oysters in this new nursery will be used to help restore New York Harbor’s oyster reefs. Oyster reefs clean the water and help protect costal communities like New York City from storm surge.
