Pier 4 Beach Oyster Nursery.
In partnership with Billion Oyster Project, Witness Tree Media created visual stories to showcase the installation of a new oyster nursery at Pier 4 Beach located at Brooklyn Bridge Park in New York Harbor. The oysters in this new nursery will be used to help restore New York Harbor’s oyster reefs. The success of Billion Oyster Project’s grassroots, community-centric, education, research and oyster reef restoration projects show coastal municipalities why restoring native oyster reefs is a crucial component to climate change adaptation.
